my poor eyeballs..........

So once again I was crying in the kitchen today. I cry in the kitchen EVERY friday. Why? Well.......every Friday I usually make dinner and for some reason everything I make has onions in it and every time I try to chop onions the tears just flow.... SO I really really don't like chopping onions(the stinging in my eyes is SO not pleasant), but for some reason I still keep putting them in everything I make. So every friday I have a good cry in the kitchen =o)

We're go'in to the hockey game tonight. fun!
And tomorrow is December 1st!!! very exciting.......... I did some Christmas shopping with mom last night. I always find things I want to buy for the same people every time I go because some siblings are just so easy to buy for and others are SO not. So I guess because some of the siblings are SO picky...they are just not going to get as much and others =o)
But I think we ALL know who's going to get spoiled over here. A certain little solder, warrior and a great many other things his imagination comes up with....
I think you all know who I mean. ;D

Well have a good last friday in november, and you have my pity if you have to chop onions today =o)

Christmas stars........aren't they pretty?

Last Christmas Jo gave Aimee and me this package of lights and different designs you can put on them so this month we decided to put the stars on. They look much prettier in person...especially around our mirror......
Just add some Christmas music playing in the background and it's perfect =o)

a poem for today...

Thanksgiving
(Lizelia Augusta Jenkins Moorer)
Let us give thanks to God above,Thanks for expressions of His love,Seen in the book of nature, grand Taught by His love on every hand.Let us be thankful in our hearts,Thankful for all the truth imparts,For the religion of our Lord,All that is taught us in His word.Let us be thankful for a land,That will for such religion stand; One that protects it by the law,One that before it stands in awe.Thankful for all things let us be,Though there be woes and misery;Lessons they bring us for our good-Later 'twill all be understood.Thankful for peace o'er land and sea,Thankful for signs of liberty,Thankful for homes, for life and health,Pleasure and plenty, fame and wealth.Thankful for friends and loved ones, too,Thankful for all things, good and true,Thankful for harvest in the fall,Thankful to Him who gave it all.

About Tuesday...........

Well since I've kind of been telling you all what we have been doing this week I thought I might as well take some pics of today...........
We left for town at like 7:30 which is earlier then we usually leave but mom wanted to get home early so we had to leave early. Jock ended up staying home cause he needed to rest up.
And since we left so early we got to walmart just in time to watch the all the weird walmart workers(of course I mean no offense to you Heidi (O;) do their strange and wild cheer thing. It was very interesting..... =o)

Anyways........
This is all the tea mom left with jock.... I don't think he ended up drinking it ALL =o)

In the truck....

At petco(one of my favorite places) buying treats for Kluane's new little something(I'll let her tell you herself what that little something is).......

I didn't even know PetCo had doves so I had to take a pic......They were cooing too....

The sun finally came up at 9:30 or so.....
Then came Archery!! this is us doing "child labor" as our teacher called it =o)

We had a little assembly line going were we fixed up old arrows....pretty fun....

This is the dart room were we get to shoot at a screen with moving animals, and it will tell us how close we got to killing the animal......

Am I really that short? wow....Oh well ........At least I'm taller then Calder..for now =o)

So anyways it was fun.......We traded Aimee for two of the Tozier boys so she's spending the night over there and they are spending the night over here......Jock can hardly talk but they are still having fun........They are playing twister right now with molly trying to get in the middle of it all...It's funny to watch =o)
Is everyone out there ready for Thanksgiving??...My mom made chocolate cream pies today and I REALLY wanted to eat one... But I managed to resist the temptation... =o) I get to go to Heidi's tomorrow! YAY!!
Well I better go.....Have a good night......~Krista~

Monday morning...............

We have been cleaning and listening to Christmas music all morning =o)

Jock cleaned out all his drawers

I got some laundry done.....Actually I got a lot of laundry done....Now I just have to fold it.....

Jock found these while cleaning out his drawers.....so silly....

Aimee and I just cleaning.....

Wow! look at all those pie plates....Mom told Jordy yesterday that if he bought more pie plates she could make more pies, so he went right to Safeway and bought some! Isn't that funny? =o)
Molly played with this sock most of the morning. She kept bugging us to play with her she always has to get right in the middle of whatever you're doing. Especially if you're sweeping =o)
...Poor Jock is pretty sick today so he's been drinking lots of tea and taking it easy...poor thing.....He looks pretty relaxed doesn't he? ;o)

So we have pretty much just been having a grand time getting ready for Thanksgiving =o)

The week ahead....

Is gonna to be a busy one. Busy but fun =o)
Tomorrow we're gonna clean the house and I'm gonna do laundry. Tuesday we have archery and probably half a day in town. Then we'll zoom home and I'll make pilgrim hat's with Jock and try and help mom make pies and anything else we have to do to get ready for Thanksgiving. Then I'm gonna leave my poor mom and go to Heidi's on Wednesday to bake and make yummo things for Thursday! And then of course the next day is Thanksgiving and pie!!! =o)
So then Friday we get up early and go shoppin and there has been some talk of maybe going caroling friday afternoon at a mall or somewhere and passing out the Christmas quiz. I hope we do cause that would be really cool and a lot of fun =o)
So what are you peoples plans for the week? You will all be just as busy as us I'm sure.
Well Aimee's bugging me to go to bed so I better go........Hope you have a fun and not to busy week and enjoy the pie ;o)
~Krista~

One random thing I'm thankful for:
Being able to play the piano. Even though I manage to mess up every time I play in front of people I'm still glad God has allowed me to be able to play some at all. It's a lot of fun and I'm very thankful I had the opportunity to learn it. And with God's help maybe one day I'll be able to play for church without my hands shaking ;o)

With thee cold came A cold.........

You never realize how wonderful it is to breath out of your nose until you can't. And when you can't breathe out of your nose you feel like you can't breathe at all. Especially at night. That's when NyQuil becomes your best friend! I haven't had to take any yet though so I'm glad for that. And then there is that problem of your losing your taste. I hate that! But I found out if you just open the garlic jar and take a big sniff that seems to clear your sinuses right out =o)
I don't really like tea but I've been drinking it. I found this spicy tea Bekah had upstairs and it's actually really good. Yes...Tea, NyQuil and some really soft tissues are the best!
Well at least this means all the sickness will pass and go away before the holidays right? I hope!
I really don't like how the weather dries your skin out. My hands or So dry they hurt! I think I need to do satin hands or somth'in.
Aimee's gonna make pumpkin bread today!yummo! looove pumpkin bread. Baking is such a fun part of the holidays!
Had anyone done any Christmas shop'in yet? I've only bought one present so far. But I have lots of ideas! I'm planning on doing a lot of Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving.
Well I'm gonna go warm up my tea that as managed to cool of in the time I took to write this.
Try not to get sick if you can and if you already are sick drink lots of tea=o)

It has started.....

I am now listening to Christmas music ;o))) Who out there has started???

Tuesday, November 6, 2007

I never really feel like posting but then all of a sudden I get in a mood.......

My music books finally came! I wasn't to impressed with the Christmas ones, but the other ones were pretty good. Now I want to order some more! But I guess I should wait a while on that =o) For the recital I'm gonna play a duet with Kluane and "who is this boy" and maybe "In the Bleak Midwinter" have you people ever heard of those two songs? They are both REALLY pretty. Oh! New poll! Let me know what you vote on. (please?) One of my favorite things besides all the obvious things about Thanksgiving is getting together with Heidi to make all kinds of interesting new recipes! And I just found out that she got the day before Thanksgiving off so we will be able to do that this year and don't have to break tradition! I'm glad. Right now I'm mostly excited for my mom to make pumpkin pie =o) I can't wait!!!

Speaking of Thanksgiving............
1 Chronicles 16:34
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
If you have a minute read Psalm 136 it's ALL about giving thanks~
