A nice night..........

Jordy, Bekah, Jocky, Aimee and I all went to Barnes and nobles tonight. Bekah and Jordy usually go every week, and since it's jocks B-day tomorrow(10 years old!YIKES!) he gets school off and so he got to stay up late tonight and go to Barnes and nobles. So Aimee and I decided to go along too. To be honest I'm not a Barnes and nobles lover(I'd rather go to PetCo any day). I know that's really lame and I know most people thing there is something seriously wrong with a person who doesn't like Barnes and nobles(And they're are probably right) so I try'in to push myself back to loving reading. I'm one of those people who can read a whole page while I'm thinking of something else and then I have to go back and read it all over again(that's really annoying)! But anyways I actually had a really good time. I found a baby name book in the christian section with all kinds of names and meanings. It was really neat. I like knowing the meaning behind names. I was also looking at some of the Greek myth books and the Odyssey and a book about troy. I love all that stuff. Even though most of it isn't real history just a bunch of stories it's still really cool to read and one of my favorite things to read about. I've been learning about Rome in my history lately and it's amazing how evil everyone was! They were always murdering there emperors and people they didn't like. It was really amazing. Anyways it was a really nice night and I might just go again next time.

So as far as the poll goes it looks like most people wanna drink hot cocoa in some place warm. Me too. I love hot cocoa! Looks like I'm gonna have to think of a new one soon.

We picked names for Christmas today =o)

I pretty much got who I wanted. It's usually a big deal cause Bekah always wants everyone to keep who they have a secret and none of the rest of us really wanna. So I always try to weasel out of everyone who they have. Heehee...That makes bekah pretty upset and in the end everyone usually knows who has them before the end of the month! So we'll see how long it takes me to find out who has me this time. =o)

I love the winter woods behind our house. I'm SO sad they're gonna cut all these beautiful trees down to build a road =o( I'll miss them..............

It looks like we are getting that snow today that I wanted!

It's really toasty in the house with a fire going =o)

I'm still waiting for my piano books to get here. Kluane and I are going to play a duet for the Christmas recital so I've been going through the duet books and there are some really fun ones! I've been playing the Christmas songs out of the hymn book and I can't wait to start listening to Christmas music =o) For some reason lately I've really been enjoying lighting candles in my room. I guess when it's cold outside it makes the room feel warmer or something. I especially like them when they smell really goood =o) Well I'm going to go try to get ALL my laundry folded and put away that should have been folded and put away monday ;o)

I ordered a bunch of piano books today! I'm so excited and I can't wait for them to get here!!! Getting new piano music is exciting! I have to pick out Christmas songs for the recital soon and I never know what I wanna do. So I'm hoping this year I can find something I really like. I can't wait to start listening to Christmas music!! I wish we could listen to it for more than 2 months and I guess you really could if you wanted to but some people think that's weird. So I'm gonna start listening the beginning of next month and get in as much time listening as I can! Has anyone else out there started thinking about Christmas??? I'm starting to get a few ideas in my head about presents and stuff!!!
Nothing much other than the regular(which can be VERY craZY) is going on over here accept that I have a cold that Aimee gave me and I'm NOT enjoying it.(Thanks a trillion Aimee!!) =o)
My Dad is mocking me when I sniffle...the big meany =o)

Mom brought jock back a feather pen and ink kit. He's been hav'in fun writing maps and stuff with it. It's pretty neat.









Aimee's probably gonna get a parakeet soon! She's been wanting one for a while now. We've never had a bird. I don't know how the Humphrey Zoo has gone so long without one! =o)
I been craving brownies for a while so me and Aimee made some after dinner. They were so yummy!!! =o)

We got all sorts of presents from the family when they got back =o)

Jock got to take school off today cause it was Columbus day. He was VERY excited about that!
The fam went to Philadelphia today and they kept telling us to watch National Treasure so we finally did. They went to some of the same places the people go in the movie. I always laugh and laugh when I watch that movie! It's a good one.
Noises have been REALLY irritating me lately and that in itself is irritating to me. So I've really been "trying" not to bite the kids head of every time they make a noise but It's hard sometimes!! They would probably tell you I have not been doing very well at the whole "trying" thing, but It's not always as easy as it sounds.
So pray for me pleeease =o)

We are going to town with the Toziers tomorrow! fun! We always have a good time with them!
Wednesday night the Fam is coming back. It's a good thing to cause I'm beginning to forget their faces ;o) A big thanks to everyone who has helped take care of us =o) I REALLY appreciate it!
I've been having fun trying out new meals and stuff. Most of the meals I've made have had a few of the same ingredients and I think that's probably getting a little old for certain people ;o) Caleb never complains though so that's nice.

I finally put the Flipflops away and got out the slippers........

today.................

We went to town with the Toziers today! They were nice enough to take us to Archery since we had no ride. It was a ton of fun! We went back to the library and got stalked up on a bunch more movies. At Archery we got to play a game were you shoot at a screen with moving animals. It was girls against boys and we won =o) Calder ended up being on the girls team cause there weren't enough girls to make it equal. We teased him a lot but he was quite a help to us girls. Anyways that was a lot of fun! And then tonight Trav and Laurel were nice enough to let us come over for dinner. It was a GOOD time! I got to hold Tekoa Rose while she fell asleep on me. That made be VERY happy. She's such a sweetie! We get to go over there again on Friday and I'm glad =o) They are a lot of fun to be around. It also means less meals for me to worry about so that's a blessing! It was a fun and full day =o) People have been so nice about asking if we need anything and how we're doing. I really appreciate it!
